We had a a bit of a surprise when we heard that Mrs Barker was teaching us, this was because Mrs Haddock had been summoned to do jury service. She was picked in the 26, but not in the 12, so she would go in if something happened to one of the 12. Unfortunately for Mrs H that did not happen, leaving us with 3 days with Mrs Barker. SOFIA

 At the start of term 3 we had Mrs Barker for the first 3 days because Mrs Haddock was summoned to do a jury service. During those 3 days we learned about the olympics, we also did some art towards the olympics. The art was really messy, we got to choose a sport in the Olympics and cut out tires to go with the sport that we chose at the end of the art there were cut out pieces of colored paper everywhere. ANNA

 On Tuesday and Thursday we have practised running around the wetlands in preparation of our cross country. We will do it every Tuesday and Thursday. We had to bring a spare change of clothes because the wetlands are very wet and muddy because of the rain. If you beat Mr Spicer you had to run with the years 7-8s. The year 7-8s have to run around Boyd Park and the wetlands. CHARLI

 On Thursday we had Mr Moody he talked about Mrs H taking us to the movies, we did the 9 & 6 times tables. PHOENIX

 Recently some of Room 13 did an I-CAS test there were 2 practices and one test. Therewere about 45 questions in the test. One of the stories was called ‘Emily’. The story was about a girl called Emily and she is on a train but then the train stopped and she looked out the window and saw people from a different culture to her and a little girl her age come towards Emily. Emily introduces herself and thought that the girl speaks a different language but she speaks English to. The other girl is called Black-water. RILEY 

Yesterday we read fire in the valley. We found out that in the Ancient Olympics. Only men were allowed to compete in the Olympics & men were allowed to watch. We also found out that everyone compete in the nude. If a lady tried to come into the olympics they were threatened with Death. SARFYRE

 This Week we all got a card for running each lap of the is one square on the card we did it last year with the solar system. This year we are doing the Olympic Rings. LEAH

 In the morning Mr Paul came in and we did some work with Room 4 they were doing personification the way we did the work Mr Paul lets us pick where to go in the game we were using the game was called ‘Gone Home’ it’s all about exploring a different environment. THOMAS GR

 Every Monday we will be doing Rad Rhythm with Room 10. Wednesday was our first time doing it this year. On Wednesday we did a performance piece, it was a workout performance. BLAKE
