Other groups were working on being kaitiaki and discovering the flax around our school, making observations about the current state they are in. We will be creating an action plan on how we can make a difference and really nurture these around our environment.
A fantastic group of Year 5 and 6 students learning alongside Mrs Haddock aka Mrs H. We are physically based at Stanley Avenue School, Te Aroha, New Zealand however this is what we call our fifth wall of the classroom - where we can share our learning with the world.

It was quite a process preparing the flax for weaving. Over the last two days we have learnt so much more about flax and how to look after it. Thanks for the comment Trevor.
