Tomorrow we are putting down the hangi...

Boys remember your gumboots so you will be able to help with the digging.  As a class we are scheduled for 10.30am to assist preparing the vegetables.

Our whakairo are looking great - representing Tanemahuta, Tawhirimatea, Tangaroa, Haumia and Rongo.  All the kaitiaki that have helped us with the food that will be placed in the hangi.

This is the first time a hangi has been prepared at Stanley Avenue School, very exciting!
